Hi,

We increase the deliverability percentage of commercial mail in non-postal zones by partnering with colleges, universities, medical centers, and government institutions across america to cleanse the mailstream before the mail reaches its target. Waste Free Mail was created for our partners to report problem mailers. What we do significantly reduces the amount of recycled and trashed materials at these institutions. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Reading through your website I’m unsure as to what services you (IMN) actually provides. What are you selling?

Yes, catalogs are a necessity -- but not the duplicates we receive even after numerous attempts to remove and correct recipient addresses. Inaction on the senders' part results in frustration and resentment toward whatever company the catalog represents. This, in turn, results in little or no business from us to the vendor. Send me the one catalog I want to receive, instead of 50, and I'll appreciate it so much I just might do business with you. I truly hope "Waste Free Mail" become a reality!

I felt like you until a few months ago about unwanted catalogs. By being involved in the Waste Free Mail revolution I have begun to change my extremist attitude. Although we are focused on reducing UAA commercial mail, I have realized that not only can we effect positive change by providing tools to give employees options concerning receipt of catalogs but that the commercial mailer uses the catalog as their billboard in the office environment. So, by working with the commercial mailer to educate them to the problem of waste and also seeing their need to promote their product we can provide a win-win situation for everyone. The commercial mailers that I have encountered are receptive to the idea of only mailing one catalog per department/lab/unit, as long as they have means to communicate through "other" media with the front line purchaser. I encourage you to continue to submit referrals through this site and support the Waste Free Mail revolution.
